Nomination

What FinEdge submitted for evaluation

FinEdge's written submission described an integrated WealthTech model combining Investment Managers, proprietary platforms including Dreams into Action and Advisor Central, a goal-linked and process-led approach, and AI that strengthens rather than replaces human judgement.

The submission explained how these capabilities work together to improve investing context, portfolio-review discipline, communication, continuity and the ability to serve a geographically distributed investor base without becoming purely transactional.

About the programme

What is the BW Festival of FinTech?

The BW Festival of FinTech brings together organisations and leaders from banking, technology, regulation, capital markets and the wider financial-services ecosystem.

The Festival of FinTech Awards recognise companies, products and individuals contributing to the evolution of financial services through innovation, technology, inclusion, leadership and customer-centric solutions.

The 2026 programme was the sixth edition of the Festival and included categories across WealthTech, payments, lending, financial inclusion, artificial intelligence, insurance technology, regulatory technology and fintech leadership.

Selection process

How the selection process worked

  • Written nomination — FinEdge submitted a detailed application describing its WealthTech model, the problems it was designed to address, its proprietary platforms, operating approach and evidence of business and client impact.
  • Application screening — the written submission was reviewed by jury members before shortlisted participants met the panel.
  • Virtual jury interaction — a concise presentation followed by questions from the panel, structured around the problem FinEdge sought to solve, what makes the model different, business and customer impact, contribution to the wider ecosystem, and FinEdge's future direction.
  • Final evaluation and Gold award — the organiser stated that scoring was based on both the submitted application and the jury interaction. FinEdge was subsequently notified that it had won Gold in the WealthTech of the Year category.

FinEdge presented

What FinEdge Presented for Evaluation

FinEdge's nomination presented WealthTech as more than a digital interface for accessing or transacting in investment products. It described an integrated model in which people, processes, proprietary platforms and intelligent technology perform different but connected roles.

A human-led investing relationship

Investment Managers remain central to understanding investor goals, financial context, behaviour and expectations. Technology supports their preparation and consistency but does not replace their judgement or accountability.

Proprietary platforms for the investing journey

Dreams into Action helps structure goals, planning scenarios, portfolio context and collaborative reviews.

Advisor Central supports relationship continuity, prioritisation, workflows and institutional memory across the investing journey.

A goal-linked and process-led approach

FinEdge's model begins with what the investor is trying to achieve rather than with a product or recent return.

Structured reviews, behavioural guidance and ongoing engagement are intended to help investors remain connected to their long-term priorities.

AI that strengthens rather than replaces people

FinEdge uses AI and machine-enabled intelligence to improve context, review quality, communication, prioritisation and operating consistency.

Investment decisions and client accountability remain human-led.

A model built for scale without losing context

The submission explained how FinEdge's platforms, processes and operating systems are intended to support a geographically distributed investor base while preserving personalisation, continuity and relationship depth.

Relevance

Why This Recognition Is Relevant to FinEdge

This award is significant because it recognises FinEdge in the broader WealthTech of the Year category rather than for one isolated product or feature.

FinEdge has spent years building an integrated ecosystem in which Investment Managers, Dreams into Action, Advisor Central, structured review processes and AI-enabled operating intelligence perform different but connected roles.

The Gold recognition creates external visibility for the model FinEdge submitted for evaluation: technology supporting human judgement, proprietary platforms built around investor context, goal-linked and process-led investing, continuity through changing markets and an operating approach designed to scale without becoming purely transactional.

The recognition reinforces FinEdge's direction. It does not replace the need to keep improving its systems, strengthening its people and earning investor trust through the experience delivered over time.
