This page sets out the regulatory, business-model, revenue, risk and service disclosures that apply when investors engage with FinEdge.
FinEdge is the operating brand of Financial Edge Fintech Private Limited. Formal disclosures should be read together with the specialised trust pages linked below, and with the applicable scheme documents from the relevant AMCs.
Disclosures on this page are reviewed periodically to reflect changes in law, regulation, business practices, technology, product offerings and operating processes.
How to read this page
- This is the formal umbrella disclosure — the specialised trust pages linked below cover the underlying details.
- For AMC-wise commission ranges, see /commission-disclosure.
- For the full revenue-model narrative, see /how-we-make-money.
- To independently verify FinEdge's AMFI registration, see /verify-amfi-registration.
- This page does not replace scheme documents, AMC disclosures or the SID / KIM / SAI applicable to any specific mutual fund scheme.
1. Regulatory Status
Financial Edge Fintech Private Limited is registered with AMFI as a Mutual Fund & SIF Distributor under ARN 83676.
Investors can independently verify the registration on AMFI's official Locate a Mutual Fund Distributor page by selecting the relevant category and entering the ARN number. A guided walk-through is available at /verify-amfi-registration.
- AMFI ARN: 83676
- ARN Holder Name: Financial Edge Fintech Private Limited
- Operating Brand: FinEdge
FinEdge is not registered as a SEBI Registered Investment Adviser, or RIA.
2. Nature of Services
FinEdge provides mutual fund distribution, investment support, goal-based planning assistance, portfolio review support, reporting, service assistance, and technology-enabled investing support.
FinEdge's investing approach is built around:
- goal-based investing;
- portfolio structuring;
- mutual fund selection support;
- periodic reviews;
- behavioural guidance;
- service and operational support;
- technology-enabled visibility;
- human-led engagement through Investment Managers.
FinEdge does not operate as an execution-only platform and does not position investing around short-term tips, market timing, or recent performance chasing. More context on FinEdge's approach is available at /why-finedge.
3. Mutual Fund Plans Offered
FinEdge offers mutual fund investments through regular plans.
In regular mutual fund plans, the cost of distribution, advice support, service, reporting, reviews, technology access, and ongoing engagement is embedded within the mutual fund's expense structure.
FinEdge does not offer mutual fund investments through direct plans as an execution-only direct mutual fund platform. For a factual comparison of regular and direct plans, see /direct-vs-regular-mutual-funds.
4. Revenue Model and Commission Disclosure
FinEdge earns revenue through distribution commissions received from Asset Management Companies as part of the regular-plan mutual fund expense structure.
Clients do not pay FinEdge a separate advisory fee for mutual fund investment support.
The distribution commission may vary by mutual fund scheme, asset class, category, AMC and expense structure. AMC-wise trail commission ranges are disclosed separately at /commission-disclosure, and the full revenue-model narrative is at /how-we-make-money.
Investors should read all scheme-related documents, expense-ratio details and disclosures before investing.
5. Client Alignment and Conflict Disclosure
FinEdge receives distribution commissions from AMCs. This creates a potential conflict that investors should be aware of.
FinEdge's operating model is designed to reduce product-led and transaction-led behaviour through:
- goal-based planning;
- no product-push targets for Investment Managers;
- structured portfolio reviews;
- client need-based product selection;
- long-term investing discipline;
- avoidance of unnecessary switching;
- transparency on revenue model and costs.
The presence or absence of commission alone does not determine whether an investing model is aligned to the investor. The more important question is whether the operating structure rewards product pushing or goal-led, disciplined investing. Commission disclosure, revenue-model transparency and AMFI verification are together intended to help investors evaluate this — see commission disclosure, how FinEdge makes money and verify AMFI registration.
6. No Custody of Client Money
FinEdge does not take or hold client money in its own name.
When investors invest in mutual funds through FinEdge, investments are made in the investor's own name and processed through authorised mutual fund transaction infrastructure.
Transactions are enabled through authorised platforms such as BSE StAR MF, and payments are routed through authorised channels to the respective Asset Management Companies, or AMCs.
FinEdge does not operate as a bank, wallet, pooled investment account, custody platform, or deposit-taking entity.
Investors should ensure that all payments are made only through authorised mutual fund transaction channels and that investments are held in their own name. Independent verification of FinEdge's distributor identity is available at /verify-amfi-registration.
7. Role of Third-Party Platforms and Service Providers
FinEdge may use authorised third-party platforms and service providers to support transactions, reporting, servicing, KYC, communication, payment processing, and portfolio information.
These may include:
- AMCs;
- RTAs;
- BSE StAR MF;
- MF Central;
- KYC agencies;
- payment gateways;
- banks;
- communication service providers;
- technology and cloud service providers;
- analytics and reporting systems.
FinEdge is not responsible for failures, delays, errors, downtime, or service limitations arising from third-party platforms, external infrastructure, AMCs, RTAs, banks, payment gateways, or regulatory systems.
8. Mutual Fund Risk Disclosure
Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. Please read all scheme-related documents carefully.
Past performance is not a guarantee of future returns.
Returns from mutual funds are not guaranteed or assured. Investment value may rise or fall depending on market conditions, fund performance, interest rates, economic conditions, liquidity, credit risk, regulatory changes, and other factors.
Investors should consider their goals, time horizon, risk requirements, and financial situation before investing.
9. No Guarantee of Returns
FinEdge does not guarantee returns, fixed outcomes, capital protection, market-beating performance, or achievement of financial goals.
FinEdge's role is to help investors structure their investing journey, make informed decisions, stay disciplined, review portfolios periodically, and remain aligned to their financial goals.
The objective is to improve the probability of achieving financial goals through structure, discipline, and long-term alignment. It is not to promise or guarantee outcomes.
10. Product Selection and Recommendations
Mutual fund selection at FinEdge is based on suitability, goal alignment, time horizon, risk requirement, portfolio structure, fund role, and internal evaluation.
FinEdge does not recommend products solely on the basis of commissions, recent short-term returns, market popularity, or "top fund" rankings.
A mutual fund that has performed well recently may still be unsuitable for a particular investor. Similarly, a fund may experience temporary underperformance and still remain suitable if its role in the portfolio remains valid.
11. Use of AI and Technology
FinEdge uses proprietary technology and AI-supported workflows to strengthen its investing process.
AI may be used to support:
- client context understanding;
- portfolio review preparation;
- communication quality;
- service prioritisation;
- relationship continuity;
- internal quality checks;
- operational efficiency;
- pattern identification.
AI does not independently recommend mutual funds, replace Investment Managers, predict returns, guarantee outcomes, or make autonomous investment decisions on behalf of clients.
FinEdge's investing model remains human-led, process-led, and technology-enabled.
12. Dreams into Action and Advisor Central
FinEdge uses proprietary platforms such as Dreams into Action, or DiA, and Advisor Central to support goal-based investing, portfolio visibility, reviews, servicing, communication, and relationship continuity.
DiA helps structure the client's goal-based investing journey.
Advisor Central supports Investment Managers in managing client relationships, review priorities, service workflows, communication history, and engagement continuity.
These platforms are intended to improve structure, clarity, consistency, and service quality.
13. No Tax, Legal, or Estate Planning Advice
Information provided by FinEdge should not be treated as legal, tax, accounting, or estate planning advice unless specifically stated and provided by qualified professionals.
Investors should consult their tax advisor, legal advisor, or other professional advisor for matters relating to taxation, estate planning, legal obligations, succession, or regulatory interpretation.
14. Website Content and Educational Material
Content on the FinEdge website, blogs, presentations, tools, calculators, videos, FAQs, or other educational material is for informational and educational purposes.
Such content should not be treated as a personalised recommendation unless it is provided in the context of a specific client relationship after understanding the investor's goals, financial situation, risk requirements, and suitability.

Investors are responsible for:
- providing accurate and complete information;
- reviewing all scheme-related documents;
- understanding risks before investing;
