Naren oversees assets of around Rs 7.62 lakh crores (as on 30 April 2024) across various mutual fund schemes. Over past two decades at IPAMC, Naren has played a pivotal role in shaping the investment strategies of the company across Equity, Fixed Income and International Advisory Business. He is the lead Fund Manager for a number of ICICI Pru’s flagship schemes including Value Discovery Fund, India Opportunities Fund, Balanced Advantage, Equity & Debt Fund and Multi Asset Fund.

Naren as a seasoned investor and strategist is known for his pragmatic approach to investing, often emphasizing the importance of value & contrarian investing, market cycles and asset allocation. Naren is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras and Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta. Prior to joining IPAMC in October 2004, he was associated with Refco Sify Securities India Pvt. Ltd, HDFC Securities Ltd, and Yoha Securities.
