Your Investment Manager, your goals, your portfolio, your reports and your scenario tests — in one place, on the screen you actually carry.

On your phone

  • 01Connect with your Investment Manager
  • 02Execute transactions
  • 03View your portfolio
  • 04View your other reports
  • 05See your financial goals
  • 06Run goal-led scenario stress tests
Execution is one row of six. The rest is the context around the decision.

The FinEdge app was not built simply to put transactions on your phone. It was built to put the FinEdge Bionic investing experience on your phone.

In the app, an investor can connect with their Investment Manager, execute transactions, view their portfolio, view their other reports, see their financial goals and run goal-led scenario stress tests — through an experience designed from the ground up for the mobile screen.

The important difference is that execution is only one part of that list. Most of what the app carries is the context around a decision, not just the mechanism for placing it.

Mobile should make the investing relationship more accessible, not make investing more transactional.

An investing app can do more than transact

Most investing apps are organised around a portfolio and a product catalogue. That is a legitimate design with a clear objective, and it serves plenty of investors well. It is simply a different objective from the one this app was built for.

A transaction interface

Portfolio → product → transact → monitor.

A perfectly reasonable objective. It is built to make buying and tracking investments efficient.

The FinEdge mobile Bionic experience

Goals + Investment Manager + portfolio + reports + scenarios → decision → execution → continuity.

A different objective. Execution is one part of the experience rather than the whole of it.

The human relationship stays available

You can reach your Investment Manager from inside the app. That sounds like a small feature and is closer to the centre of the design: the technology is not there to replace the relationship, it is there to carry access to that relationship into your pocket.

Decisions get implemented, in that order

Once a decision has been made, the app lets you act on it. The intellectual order matters more than it may appear — decision, then implementation, rather than a transaction that gets justified afterwards. Execution should never be the reason a considered decision fails to happen; it should also not be the thing that starts the thinking.

Your portfolio, your reports — and your goals

You can see what you own and open your reports without waiting for the next meeting or piecing statements together yourself. That much is table stakes for any serious investing app, and the app does it.

The distinction is that your financial goals are visible too. A purely portfolio-centric app can answer “how did my investments perform?”. Seeing goals alongside holdings keeps a second, more useful question in view: what was this money meant to achieve, and is it still on course?

Goal-led scenario stress tests

This is one of the more meaningful things the app does, and it has little to do with transacting.

Rather than only showing what has happened, the app lets you explore goal-led scenarios — testing how changes in assumptions or financial choices may affect a goal. That is a different kind of tool from a product screener. It supports a conversation about consequences before a decision is made, instead of an explanation after one.

Can scenario testing tell me what will happen to my goal?

No. A scenario test explores how a goal may be affected if certain assumptions change — contributions, timelines, expectations. It is a way of thinking through possibilities and trade-offs, not a forecast. Investment outcomes remain subject to market risk, and no scenario tool can remove that uncertainty.

Continuity between conversations

Your investing relationship should not have to start again every time you close the app — or wait until the next meeting to become visible again.

Between reviews, life keeps moving. Markets move, incomes change, priorities shift and questions arrive at inconvenient hours. The mobile experience keeps goals, portfolio context, reporting, scenario exploration, execution and access to your Investment Manager available in those gaps.

Convenience is more valuable when it preserves context rather than replacing it.

Built from the ground up for the mobile screen

The app was not adapted from a desktop system. It was built for the phone — and the design problem was more interesting than screen size.

The challenge was not how to shrink FinEdge onto a smaller screen. It was how to make the Bionic investing experience available on a phone without losing the human relationship, goal context, decision process and continuity it was designed to create.

Should an investing app make you invest more?

Increasing activity is not the objective. The app should make an appropriate action convenient — and an appropriate action is not always a transaction.

Sometimes the useful thing to do is understand something, review a goal, test a scenario, message your Investment Manager, execute a decision already taken, or simply stay connected to a plan that does not need changing. An app that treats all six as valid is doing a different job from one that treats only the fifth as success.

Can I use the FinEdge app without an Investment Manager?

The app is designed to be used as part of the FinEdge investing relationship rather than instead of it. The goals, plan and reports you see are the ones established in that relationship, which is what makes the information in the app meaningful rather than merely available.

Where the app sits

Three things are related but not interchangeable. The FinEdge Bionic Model is the complete operating model — people, process, technology and AI working as one system. Dreams Into Action is the goal-led philosophy and methodology, and the shared decision environment built around it.

The app is the mobile expression of that wider investing relationship — the place where a great deal of it becomes available on a phone. It is not the whole of Dreams Into Action, and Dreams Into Action is not simply the app.

See the app in the context it was built for

The app is most useful once there is a plan behind it — goals defined, assumptions agreed and an Investment Manager who knows your situation.

Mutual fund investments are subject to market risk. Read all scheme related documents carefully.
