Getting the goal calculation right, with inflation included
A goal calculated at today's prices is already wrong. Inflation decides what the goal will actually cost on the date you need it, and that number is what the contribution has to be sized against.

What this covers
FinEdge's published note on this video makes accurate goal calculation the critical step of the investing journey — because every later decision, including how much to invest each month, is derived from it.
It also places the calculation inside a wider process: People, Process, Product, Personalisation and Purpose, the 5Ps FinEdge describes as the basis of successful investing.
Size the goal in future rupees, then size the contribution against that number.
