FinEdge Investor Studies
Research Usage & Citation Policy
FinEdge Investor Studies are published so that investors, researchers and journalists can read, understand and cite them. This page states the terms on which they may be used.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to FinEdge Investor Studies: the study pages published on this website, the downloadable findings reports, and the aggregated statistics, charts and figures they contain. It does not cover investor-level or raw research data, which FinEdge does not publish, distribute or license. Only aggregated findings are released.
Ownership
FinEdge retains all intellectual-property rights in its research, including the study text, analysis, figures, charts and reports. Publishing a study does not place it in the public domain and does not transfer any rights to the reader.
Brief non-commercial use and media coverage
You may quote or reference brief extracts of a published FinEdge study — for example a finding, a figure or a short passage — for non-commercial purposes, research, commentary or media coverage, provided FinEdge and the specific study are clearly credited and, online, linked to the study page. This is a limited permission, not a general reuse licence.
When prior permission is required
Written permission from FinEdge is required before reproducing or distributing a study in full or in substantial part, republishing or syndicating its content, using it in commercial, promotional or product material, translating or adapting it, incorporating it into a paid or subscription product, or using FinEdge research to imply endorsement of any organisation, product or service.
How to credit a study
Credit the study by name, name FinEdge as the source, and link to the study page where the reference appears online. For example: “FinEdge Women Investor Study 2024, FinEdge — https://www.finedge.in/investor-studies/women-investors-study-2024”. Findings should be reported with the population and period the study states, and must not be presented as a projection, a recommendation or an assurance of any investment outcome.
Requesting permission
For any use beyond the brief, credited exception above, write to info@finedge.in describing the study, the extract and the intended use. Permission is given in writing and applies only to the use described.
The studies this policy applies to
This policy covers FinEdge research only. General use of this website is governed separately by our Terms & Conditions.
